Operation Achieve Anything: Day Fifty-Nine, Dateline 2-28-2018

Good morning Crickets. Welcome to day number fifty-nine of Operation Achieve Anything which also happens to be the first of my non-birthday birthday options as a leap year child. I opt to celebrate my special day on the last of the month of February because I feel more of a connection to the shortened quirky month than I do to the boring month of March. That said, I do fully understand those who disagree since my actual birthday is technically the day after February 28th.

Hey Crickets. Welcome to day number fifty-eight of Operation Achieve Anything which also happens to be non-birthday eve for this leap year baby. I think this is going to be a quick post since both the assignments I’m here to report on don’t have me all that inspired, plus I just want to get through my obligations in order to curl into a ball and continue to enjoy this annual period of reflection.

Good morning Crickets. How are things going for you on this wonderful day where I’m about to share my insights from day number fifty-seven of Operation Achieve Anything. Just yesterday I was saying how I was excited for the Olympics to be over with so that I could get back to my regular schedule and already today, I’m back to my usual pre-Olympics waking time.

Hey Crickets. It’s day number fifty-six of Operation Achieve Anything and the fact that I’m writing this line means it’s also time for another one of my assignment updates. Today is also the end of The Winter Olympics which might be a good thing because I now think it might be another ingredient of the weird mood that I’m currently experiencing. That’s not to say that I feel that the actual games are creating any negative thoughts but the fact that they are always on, and I enjoy watching them so much, my schedules been flipped on its head.

Good morning Crickets. How are things going on this wonderful Saturday morning that happens to be day number fifty-five of Operation Achieve Anything? I’m still in a bit of a birthday funk as I continue to question my life choices and future existence as I wait for my personal celebratory day that won’t even exist for another two years. Again, I wouldn’t say that I’m depressed but I am definitely stuck in my head, thanks to the annual period of reflection.

Hey Crickets, it’s me again. Time for update number fifty-four of Operation Achieve Anything. If you’ve been playing along at home then you might know that I caught, what I think was, the flu a couple of weeks ago. If it wasn’t the flu it was a pretty bad cold that legitimately knocked me out of commission for a little over a week. I feel perfectly fine now, as I have for the past week but I’ve really been struggling to get back in my groove when it comes to the rewriting of my next novel.

Hey Crickets, how’s it going on this freezing morning also known as day number fifty-three of Operation Achieve Anything. Yesterday, I shared details of my latest drinking binge which now that I think about it, might have been inspired by the default rut that I fall into as my birthday approaches. This isn’t a usual rut, in that I don’t necessarily become depressed, but is instead, more of a reflective time where I would rather think back over the completion of one more year than actually work toward my goals.

Good morning Crickets. Welcome to day number fifty-two of Operation Achieve Anything. Yesterday, I was a bit low energy due to a bout with binge drinking where I polished off a box of wine by myself over the past two days. This is my new pattern when it comes to drinking, I’m now down to giving into my drinking temptations only once a month where I buy a box of wine that contains thirty-four glasses of wine to then drink over half the box on the first night then polish off the rest throughout day number two.

Morning Crickets. It’s day number fifty-one of Operation Achieve Anything and I have to admit that today I feel completely exhausted to the point where I also feel a bit uninspired. The problem is that I apparently took yesterday’s fifty day celebration a bit too far and stayed up until six-o’clock in the AM drinking boxed wine for the first time since back in January at some point.

Well Crickets, today is number forty-nine of Operation Achieve Anything, making it a full seven weeks since I started this project. Though there have been a few ups and downs, I have yet to lose my interested in seeing what each new day will bring. Even when I disagree with a lesson or find an assignment to be annoying, I’m still really enjoying having the Achieve Anything… book to provide some direction for these Daily Breaker posts.

Good morning Crickets. Here we go with day number forty-eight of Operation Achieve Anything, where today I’m in a much better mood… well… actually, I wasn’t really in a bad mood for the past two posts, the subject of the lessons just led to some depressing updates. Then again, even though I wasn’t necessarily feeling blue, my energy might be more uplifted today because I just landed some paid work just in time to replenish my stash of medical marijuana!!!

Hello, Crickets. Welcome to day number forty-seven of Operation Achieve Anything. Once again, today’s update might be a bit of a bummer because of the nature of the assignments that I have to report on. Just like with yesterday, the topic of the tasks deals with sorting through my personal flaws while reconsidering how I interact with others.

Hey Crickets. Welcome to day number forty-six of Operation Achieve Anything. Today’s going to be a bit of a rough one but not because I take issue with either of the assignments that I’m here to share. No, today’s going to be rough because the Achieve Anything… book has me tapping into more depressing areas of my life that may have been lighter back in my glory days.

Good morning Crickets. Welcome to day number forty-five of Operation Achieve Anything. Thankfully today’s assignment has nothing to do with the concept of less talk, more rock, or that might have been the final straw with this challenge. Again, I feel that this is a great rule to live by but the fact that the book had six lessons in a row with the same reworded lesson was driving me out of my mind.

Hey Crickets. Welcome to day number forty-four of Operation Achieve Anything, where once again I have mixed feelings about this dumb books decision to be so repetitive that it’s lessons feel like filler half of the time. I really liked yesterday’s assignment because it was something new and there was focused direction to the assignment but then I opened the book today only to find the book literally mocking me while pointing out that it was going back to focus on the less talk, more rock lesson that it’s already spent five days on with recycled garbage.

Goob morning Crickets. Welcome to day number forty-three of Operation Achieve Anything. Hopefully, between the fact that I’m finally over the flu that had me bed ridden all week and the fact that the Achieve Anything… book is finally over its five days of trying to find slightly different ways to say less talk, more rock, my enthusiasm for this challenge will return to the levels they were prior to falling ill.

Hey Crickets. Welcome to the end of week six of Operation Achieve Anything where once again, for the fifth day in a row, I’m here to report on the same reworded lesson that I lost interested after day number two thanks to the vague assignments with zero direction that leaves me uninspired to write about them. I’m getting to the point where it feels like this book is actually taking me further from the goal that I set out to complete with this challenge while wasting my time on this filler content.

Good morning Crickets. Welcome to another day of nonsense as I bring you day number forty-one of Operation Achieve Anything. Today makes four days in a row of the same recycled lesson and three days in a row where the assignment’s been vague minus any real direction. So I think I’m going to make this one quick since I finally feel like I’m no longer sick and will be spending the day hanging out with the family.

Good morning Crickets. It’s another super early morning for me as I continue to wind down my illness as I give you day number forty of Operation Achieve Anything. This will make three days in a row where the Achieve Anything… book has recycled its own content as filler with the lesson being, do less talking and do more doing. Where, again, other than stuff that’s just not important to me, I’ve never been a person who doesn’t finish what I start.
