Welcome to day sixteen of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… this morning I woke up 12 hours into the 72-hour propagation process… and for the first time in days… I didn’t wake to this site being offline to then find errors in my DNS records… keeping in mind… yesterday… I finally gave in and disconnected everything extra that pulls from these DNS file…
Again… I have no issue with any of the features that might be causing these behind-the-scenes conflicts because they all played together perfectly until about two months back… back when renewing my domain named seemed to throw everything out of wack because I didn’t update one of the features with whatever code that they needed in order to inform it that there was a new expiration date…
At least that’s the best excuse I can come up with… since none of the support teams seem to know the source of the problem if they even acknowledge the problem at all… but again… look at the graph below… wouldn’t you think they were a problem with your page if you saw this sharp drop in your numbers… that never came back even though you keep getting told to give it a couple of days and everything should go back to normal… after providing what they claimed to be a fix…
Hopefully… with fewer voices from fewer directions… I’ll be able to figure this out on my own…
Until then… let’s dig into today’s assignment…
Thankfully… while I wait… the 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Nothing Day… so I’m going to take full advantage of this theme… and after I write a quick Daily Breaker post… I plan to do nothing at all… at least nothing that I do on a typical day… but may do something like fully clean the mess of a room… and not just tidy up to get it to where it’s just acceptable…
Whatever nothing that I end up getting into… I’ll be sure to share with you in tomorrow’s post…
