365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day Thirty-Five - 2/4/2021

Welcome to day number thirty-five of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where I’ve spent the last three days hunting down webpages with multiple H1 tags to narrow down to one… in an effort to improve my SEO score… I should be done with this marketing task at some point tomorrow… since I’ve only got ten more seasons of searching through from the My Saturday Night Life challenge… which is the main source of the multiple H1 problems…
I’ll have to figure out which area of the SEO audit I should work on next to improve my score even more… I know that I have to resize all of my photos… since I was always under the impression that they were automatically optimized by the web building service that I use that claims you need no experience to use… which was me eight years ago when I started this site… before I knew how to build my own sites from scratch…
Not that I’m now an expert… I just know how to code what’s seen on the screen… I’m still a rookie when it comes to anything behind the scenes like marketing and optimization as far as the end user’s concerned… which is pretty much why I started this challenge… where I hope to end up a marketing novice… with enough knowledge on the subject to build The Wicker Breaker up to the point where I no longer need a part-time job… and I figure these daily marketing tasks should help…
And there you have my marketing efforts for today… now let’s see how I fulfilled the task from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Coaches Day… which was another rough day for me… since I’ve never played and sports and no mentor has ever taken me on… so I don’t really have any coaches in my life to write about… that said… I do wish that I had a coach’s guidance… or guidance from anyone at all…
A few years back when I was working on my 365 Day Of Resolution Challenge… where I set a resolution a day for a year… and then gave myself 365 days to complete each task… one of these tasks was to pay for a friend to take a cheap online life coach course… so that they could help me navigate my life on this planet… giving them their first client to build a portfolio… but I couldn’t find anyone willing to play along…
As I’ve done before… when lost as to how to fulfill an assignment for this marketing challenge… I’m going to use this as an excuse to promote/market my old work… feel free to read the life coach resolution that I mentioned in the above paragraph… if you’re here to see what I came up with based on yesterday’s post… I still may write up something about the show with Dauber… and/or the old guy who was replaced by Woody on Cheers… but that will be another day…
That’s all that I have for yesterday’s task though… so let’s take a look at the assignment for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Girls And Women In Sports Day… as I just said above… I’ve never played an organized sport which might be why I never was a huge fan of watching them… well… unless I was gambling and had something of my own to win or lose… so… when I say that this one’s going to be another difficult one… it’s not because I’m a manly man who thinks females athletes don’t belong… in fact… I’m all for women in sports since I am a fan of the Olympics where there is an equal blend of sexes involved… at least in the events that I like to watch… but that’s all that I’ve got right now… and once again… I can’t wait to see what I come up with to share with you tomorrow…
