365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day Fifty-Seven - 2/26/2021
/One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…
Welcome to day number fifty-seven of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where yesterday I share a list of free marketing courses that I plan to take from Udemy… to fulfill this project’s daily marketing routines while I’m taking a break from doing the work to tweak this site’s SEO… because I need to wait a little while for the search engine bots to recrawl all the pages to get a better idea of where I actually am right now…
I also figured that I should take a few courses… because… up until now… I’ve just been winging it… and using YouTube and web searches to figure out how to make the suggested changes that have been provided by the free SEO tool that I’ve been using for analysis… this is why I’m opting to start with this course on the basics of SEO and analytics… to… hopefully… get a better idea of how everything works as a whole… and stop causing more problems when implementing only half of a fix that then triggers a different error…
This class is only around two hours long… so I’ll probably try to fit in more before the evening is over… but I’m not sure which course that will be… but… I’ll be sure to share any reviews and/or insights of what I end up getting into when I check-in for tomorrow’s post…
For now… I’m going to consider the marketing portion for today done in order to get to work… but… before that… it’s time for me to share how I handled yesterday’s task…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Inconvenience Yourself Day… which is a day that I guess you don’t really celebrate… you just do it??? I don’t know… but either way… I’m going to have to reach to technically fulfill the needs of this theme… as a five-plus-year shut-in… just having to leave my living space can feel like an inconvenience at times…
Keeping in mind that I’m aware that this is a first-world problem… but since I started to develop social anxiety and agorophobia… my first world has gotten very small… to where I now have my garage that has been converted to be like a studio… and the living room… where I watch TV with my family who lives in the main house… I guess there’s also my garden and the pool… as far as home goes… and then The Dollar Tree… my pharmacy… and any doctor’s office for issues that can’t be handled via the phone…
Yesterday… I had a phone appointment with my new therapist that didn’t go all that well… because I got in trouble for the way that I express myself using psychological terms… because… as my therapist said… I haven’t gone to school long enough to make my own diagnosis… so I shouldn’t be throwing around any official terms… so… I just shut-up and shut-down for the rest of the appointment… making the whole experience seem like an inconvenience… enough so… that I just wanted to say fuck it… the second that I got off the phone… and almost canceled my appointment today with my new pill doctor…
I’m sure that sharing an example of how I was inconvenienced was the point of today’s theme… but the above is only the introduction of what I feel could technically meet this task’s needs… not that the example that I’m going to use is that much better… but… I do feel like I technically inconvenienced myself by not giving up… because it would be much easier for me to keep trying to figure things out on my own if my input is aggressively dismissed… when the reason I’m seeking help is to build my confidence… feel free to click here to read last night’s Daily Breaker where I shared what went down…
And that’s how I technically celebrated yesterday’s theme… and now it’s time to share what the marketing book has to offer for today’s theme…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Tell A Fairy Tale Day… which should be a fun one… but… unfortunately… I’m still taking a break from fictional writing until I get further along in my efforts to work on my mental health… because I used to treat my fictional work as my therapy… instead of it just being therapeutic… that said… I still have plenty of old “fairy tales” share… it’s just a matter of deciding which one to go with… so get prepared for storytime tomorrow!!!
And now… to wrap it all up… below are my statistics for the last seven days…
