Welcome to day number seventy-one of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where… once again… I have no new marketing fun to share… not because I haven’t made a marketing effort… but because… I’m so close to adding all of the metadata to 2014’s The Daily Breaker posts that I can’t get the task out of my mind long enough to work on anything new…
I will definitely be done by the time I check in with tomorrow’s post… where I’ll probably share the before and after stats from my latest Seobility crawl… which will be the last crawl of the free trial month of their service… this is why I feel the I can guarantee that I’ll wrap up at least 2014 buy this evening…
I’ll probably take the weekend to have a little fun… by taking a few courses before returning to the monotonous task of adding the same metadata to 2015… hopefully… as I continue to work on this task… I’ll develop better time/task management techniques… that all of the remaining years won’t take as long… but I still don’t expect to be done… done… until the end of the month…
So that’s what I’m up to as far as my marketing effort goes… now it’s time to share how I handled the theme from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Middle Name Pride Day… which means that I needed to come up with a task that has something to do with taking pride in the name Arron… the only thing I can think of is that… I think… the name Aaron was inspired by Elvis’s middle name… but… I don’t really care all that much about “The King…”
I am kind of proud that my name makes me a candidate to be Nosatradomus’s third antichrist MABUS… because I’m Matthew Aaron Bunker… AKA MAB… and then I’m from the US… combine the two and you get MABUS… you might laugh… but I’ve seen other links to MABUS which far more convoluted connections… maybe it’s a good thing I’m too broke to get into much trouble with this claim…
It’s also a good thing that I don’t really believe this… I just thought it was a funny connection over a decade ago… when I first heard of MABUS on the paranormal talk show Coast To Coast AM… which was a great show to write to at night… I haven’t heard the show in quite a while… but that doesn’t have anything to do with my middle name…
I’m not fully sure if this meets the needs of the day’s theme… but… it is what it is… and now it is time to see what the book has in store for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Worship Of Tools Day… which is another vague day to celebrate… but… at least they used the word tool… which can mean many things that we can worship on this day… maybe I’ll talk about some software I use… or the keyboard and mouse that I find to be idea… or maybe I’ll talk about some dip shit politician making a dumb fuck lack of judgment while making some moronic new rules… ether way… I’m excited to finally have options again… because this week was rather rough…
