365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day Eighty-Three 3/24/2021
/One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…
Welcome to day number eighty-three of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where this morning I went to start the eighth and final marketing course that I signed up for at the beginning of this challenge… I was hoping that this course would change things up since my last couple of posts have felt a little uninspired from having nothing new to share about the SEO task that has me busy when I’m not writing these Wicker Breaker posts…
Unlike the other courses… this one is a marketing Bootcamp that covers more than just SEO… like all of the other marketing courses that I’ve taken so far… and though this is the perfect course to be the next one in my queue… I feel like I need to clear off all of my SEO plates before moving forward… since I’m only looking for material to inspire new content… having plenty of work to keep me busy when I’m not writing…
So… I’m going to hold off on starting this new course… and hope that it won’t take me too much longer to wrap up all of the SEO efforts that I’ve been putting into this site… it shouldn’t be too much longer… because… as soon as I’m done adding metadata to all of The Daily Breaker posts… I plan to hire an expert to tidy up the rest of the SEO needs for this site so that I can move on to focusing more on visual design… after that… then I’ll be ready for this class…
Until then… I’m considering today’s marketing segment to be done… now let’s move on to see how I handled the task from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Chips And Dip Day… and if I wasn’t on a diet… I would be going nuts to celebrate the day… since… as I’ve always told my friends… chips and dip was my favorite dinner as a kid… and I’m not even joking…
When I was young… my mom would ask me what I want for dinner and I’d say chips and dips… and sure enough… she’d come home from work with a medley of dips and tortilla-based dipping receptacles… Guacamole… Smoked Tuna… and cream cheese and salsa were the biggies…
Today… I decided to make a favorite dip only with a twist… usually… when my family makes guacamole… we add cottage cheese to increase the volume to have enough to make the rounds… I’m going to try the same dish… only to add to the health value… I’m going to try a hummus avocado mix… that turned out to be pretty good on its own… of course I also had to include my homegrown green onions…
I then mixed everything into my old dog bowl… a common technique when it comes to me… and scooped some up with some blue corn tortilla chips… and have to say… though it may not look like a dish out of Master Chef… I was happy to munch on this stuff all throughout the day…
And with that… I’m going to consider the celebration of yesterday to be done… now it’s time to see what the book has in store for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Puppy Day… and my dog’s ears lifted as I typed these words… because she loves these days that inspire me to spend more TV time with her… not that I don’t always spend TV time with her… but she seems to know when this site puts her in the spotlight… I can’t wait for tomorrow’s post to share what we end up getting into…
But for now… to wrap it all up… below are my statistics for the last seven days… now complete with speed stats…
