Resolution #275: Try To Invent... In Order To Learn How To Use My 3D Printer...

The Resolution: While searching for a book to teach me how to use my 3D Printer I discovered The Invent to Learn Guide to 3D Printing.

The title and concept of not only inventing while learning but inventing as a way to learn, hooked me in.

By this time next year… I aim to read this book and complete all the projects.

Result #275: My Third Failure Stemming From My Failure To Finish Building My 3D Printer…

Update #1: The Conclusion…

A couple of days ago I shared that I failed to put together my 3D Printer Kit. I bought the kit prior to setting the resolution in hopes that it would guarantee that I'd assemble it in time for a success. I then fantasized that with the printer put together I'd figure out how to convert my Xbox Kinect into a 3D scanner (which I also purchased prior to setting the resolution.) With these two tasks out of the way, I hoped to move right into working on the projects in this book.

Nope.

If you haven't read my 3D Printer update, I failed to put the printer together which led to a short string of failures including this one.

The good news is that I have all the materials. I just need to buy a couple of replacement pieces for the printer and when I get them I will finally put everything together and get to work learning and inventing with the help of this book to finally complete this task as well.
