It's official...

I'm obsessed...

Last night I started to develop my first real-world Android App and it's quite an amazing process. The first couple steps were rather simple, I created a login and sign up page, the same way that I did for several assignments from class. Then I got to the meat of my project that involves more advanced coding that wasn't covered at all.

Granted, we worked through similar features so I felt I could figure it out. At first, I was just going to work with placeholders to treat this as more of a prototype than a fully functional app. Either way, I'm fully aware that I will be fudging with features for a while before I fully commit to a final product.

So, I moved on in an effort to rush through the app building equivalent of a first draft. Unfortunately, this style of rushing doesn't really work with me as my mind kept coming back to the logic behind my issue like a tongue is drawn to any oddity within the mouth but it was getting late and I had to sleep.

While in bed, I could help but think of solutions so there was no way that I could get any sleep with the amount of activity going on in my head. Then I gave in, got up and got back to work. It only took a quick YouTube search find a solution from a man from India with tons of useful videos.

This is what got me amazed.

In this world that seems to be falling apart, there are so many people out there sharing what they know and not really asking for much in return. This guy didn't even have ads or pop ups, all he asked was to like, subscribe and come back to his channel for my future coding needs and I've already done all three.

This is the perfect combination of writing, logic, and undercover collaboration that I need to solidify my interest in a new career/creative outlet. Where before I felt more secure sticking to coursework, I now see that there are answers everywhere and if I stick to this, there is way more potential to actually get to where I really want to be.

Now it's time to stop rambling and get back to work.

Talk to you tomorrow,
