Though I am thoroughly enjoying the learning process, I really can't wait to learn enough about building apps to be able to write code off the top of my head. I can tell that I will get to this point someday because with every lesson I take the concepts are becoming more clear to me and I have to resort to reference material less and less to get my apps to do what I want.

Where I used to fall asleep to ideas for stories to write filling my head, I now find myself working through app logic to distract me from my sad thoughts on reality. Where I used to be able to wake up and get right to work on a story, these app ideas just end up on a list of things to work on in the future when: 1) My time isn't monopolized by learning and 2) I can accomplish building the app to be fully functional and built correctly.

Of all my efforts to learn a trade that I both enjoy and has the potential to make money, professionally and through projects of my own, I feel this app building route is the most promising to date. Not only that, but I hope that in the near future I will be able to mix this new skill to build apps involving aspects of my failed dreams.

Last night's fantasy app was an interesting way to deliver the first portion of the novel that I wrote a couple years back. I think I've come up with a very interesting way to share a very quirky piece of writing. My new dream is to earn enough money through app building to hire an editor and start publishing my own work on my own terms.

Let see if I can pull this off?

Until then, it's time to get back to work on my schooling.

Talk to you tomorrow,
