Dateline 6-11-2017

I swear if it wasn't for technology I could potentially be the next Buddha. Not only do I have the gut but I'm also an extremely easy going person that wants nothing more in this world than to find inner peace and wish the same for the rest of the world, that is, until something doesn't work the way that it's supposed to, then I want the people in charge of the design flaw that caused the issue to die.

The thing that sucks is, the more advanced technology has grown to be the more hacks like me who took a six-month online course are contributing to the creation of half-assed technology that randomly goes to shit out of the blue.

It seems that these days there is no longer a sense of steady and stable due to bells and whistles that mess things up while doing nothing more than looking pretty. I spent the last three days optimizing my computer to where last night it was running like it was brand new and I reconfigured my WiFi extender to where my internet feed was the fastest that I've seen since moving back to San Diego.

With everything running smoothly I felt my inner peace return after battling with stress and anxiety over whether or not I'd meet my deadline due to issues out of my hand which has been an on and off problem for at least three weeks and I almost felt like I was awake but dreaming when I found that the problem was gone.

I then woke this morning to find that my computer was no longer recognizing said WiFi extender and after doing some research I found that it was completely dead and couldn't even be saved with a factory reset and now I'm back to just barely in range shoddy connectivity.

The moment I discovered this I felt like I was about to explode which felt twice as harsh after experiencing what I thought would be a longer sense of calmness. Luckily, all the other efforts to optimize my system that I feel I can get by until my replacement WiFi extender arrives.

I dream of the day that the internet works the way that it's supposed to, based on what we pay, so I can get all my internet based work done without having to fight with either hardware or software that's working against me because other than that, I'm a completely calm person.

Oh well, as always, we'll see what happens and also as always I'll be sure to check in tomorrow with what does.
