I have mixed feelings about Twitter. Though I do love how it gives everyone a voice, I hate how often the "media" uses these voices to make something out of nothing by cherry picking through the small percentage of the hive mind's outrageous reaction to an otherwise mundane event to push some sort of divisive agenda to where it now feels like you have to pick sides on every single new statement that one of the louder voices has to say.

Where I hate this aspect of Social Media, I love the access that it gives the average person resources that make it feel like you're getting personalized special treatment. Just last night, I took to Twitter to gripe about my slow internet connection and within an hour I had a support person contact me and help to figure things out.

Unfortunately, my name isn't the one on the account so it took me a while to get the account information I needed to move forward with this help. Then to top things off, by the time I did get the required information, our internet seemed to have worked things out on its own, which is another thing that drives me crazy, like the WB's singing frog, the issue seems to only comes up when no one else is looking.

At this point, I don't see the fact that nothing was done as a failure because now that I have a way to contact support without using the phone, I can breathe much easier. I already feel way less inner tension knowing that I won't ever have to go multiple days in a row without having anyone to turn to for help when the internet does go out for hours at a time like it's been doing for over a month.

This morning was so relaxing. I started the day picking up where I left off on a viewing of SNL that my throttled service just wouldn't allow and I was able to jump through the episode with ease to grab screen caps of my favorite moments.

Hopefully, the service remains solid for the day because between a consistent internet connection and the revival of my go with the flow attitude, I'm excited to get back to living the stress reduced life when my outlet to the world was running smoothly... well better than it's been for a while.

Oh well, there you have it, that's the start to my day so far. As for the rest of the day, I plan to plug away to finish at least two more reviews to free up the next couple days for a family visit. As always, I'll check in tomorrow with yet another update.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
