Welcome to day number twenty-three of this year's NaNoWriMo where I would like to start out this post by wishing you a merry Thanksgiving Day!!! If you've been following my progress then you already know that I will be using my backup content in order to take the entire day off in order to enjoy my boozy tradition without having to stress over deadlines.

Welcome to day number twenty-two of this year's NaNoWriMo challenger where I am now officially far enough ahead of the recommended pace to where I can officially take tomorrow off to celebrate Thanksgiving. Not only that but I am now also far enough ahead of the game that I can officially take the next day off as well to sleep off the hangover that is guaranteed to follow.

Welcome to day number twenty-one of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where I am now not only officially two days ahead of their recommended pace but I am also now officially two days ahead of my SNL viewing challenge as well. This is an awesome place to be since it means that no matter what I'll at least be taking Thanksgiving off with enough fudge room for an extra hangover day if needed.

Good morning crickets and welcome to day number 20 of this year's NaNoWriMo Challenge where I am still two days ahead of the recommended pace and am damn close to being two days ahead of my SNL viewing challenge as well. I think I mentioned this yesterday in passing but my new plan is to get ahead of my work as much as possible to be able to take a couple guilt-free days off for Thanksgiving.

Welcome to day number nineteen of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where I am now officially two days ahead of the recommended pace and not just one whole day and change. Not only that but I'm also still one entire review ahead of my SNL watching challenge. This almost wasn't the case as I almost had another slacker day thanks to another visit from my family.

Welcome to day number eighteen of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where yesterday, I managed to make it throughout the entire day without having to use any of my backup content to meet my deadlines. If you haven't been following along, that's not to say that I frequently rely on backup content to get where I need but last time I did manage to build up a surplus of completed work, I burnt through my lead within about forty-eight hours.

Alight, we are now at day number seventeen of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and I am proud to announce that I am officially an entire day ahead of my workload once again. As far as my NaNoWriMo writing goes, I've been at two days ahead of schedule consistently since missing the one day that led me to focus on building a backlog, but now I'm back to being ahead of my SNL reviews as well.

Here we go again for day number sixteen of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where I'm still ahead of the game and still going strong but I've fallen into such a routine that yesterday's experience was pretty uneventful. Don't get me wrong, uneventful can be great but not when you're a shut-in and have to come up with something new to report on every day.

Good News: Today is day number fifteen on this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and I am now close to two days ahead of the recommended pace, or at least I will be after I finish my pages for today. Bad News: I am not longer a day ahead of my SNL reviews due to the fact that I got a wild hair up my ass and ended up drinking the day away.

Welcome to day number 14 of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where thanks to putting in a little extra work I will be hitting the halfway mark a day ahead of the recommended schedule. In fact, I came super close to hitting this halfway point last night while working on my ramblings.

Welcome to day number 13 of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where I would like to announce that I am now officially an entire day ahead of my workload!!! Well, unless you count this post, which I don't because this segment of my site is meant to be an up-to-the-minute account of what I've been up to since yesterday's post. That said, I soon as I hit publish, I am technically done with all of my projects for today.

Alright, enough dilly-dallying as it's time to get started on day twelve of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge. The reason I am getting such a late start or at least the reason I'm struggling to get going is due to the fact that I came extremely close to fulfilling yesterday's goal to get an entire day ahead of my workload.

It's now day number 11 of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and things are still going strong. Since today is Saturday, I'm going to attempt to take advantage of the fact that I have fewer distractions on this weekend day by doubling down on my efforts to get at least one day ahead of the recommended word count pace in order to give myself a little breathing room.

We are now ten days into the month of November meaning that by the end of the day I'll be a third of the way done with the novel that I'm writing for this year's NaNoWriMo. Though I am very excited about the progress that I am making, the fact that participating in this year's challenge was such a last moment plan is making this the sloppiest first draft that I've ever written.

Today makes day number nine of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and I am still chugging along at the proper pace to finish this project on time. I'm finding that I really like the daily word count goal set by the self-paced competition because it sets a scale of sorts that allows me to see at a quick glance just how successful my day has been.

It's day number eight of this year's NaNoWriMo and I'm proud to announce that I am officially caught up to the recommended pace after dipping due to taking a day off. My next goal is to keep up with this catch-up pace until I get to the point where I'm one day ahead of the target. This would help to ease some of the daily pressure over whether or not I'll meet my daily goal.

Welcome to day number seven of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where, by the end of today, I should be completely caught up to the target word count that I slipped behind on following an impromptu day off. I'm still not sure whether or not the novel I opted to work on will be anywhere near a draft worth sharing but I think I'm onto a structure that's interesting.

It's day six of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and once again, I am back in the game. The night before last I ended up slipping into an early slumber leading me to also fall behind one day on my progress. Luckily, the old early to bed early to rise adage got me out of bed at around 6:00 in the AM, giving me an early start to my day.

Alright, it's day number five of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and unfortunately, I have no new words to add to my daily word count. I'm not all that worried or disappointed though because the reason I didn't get to any writing last night is that my overworked mind forced me to take a little time off.

Time for another NaNoWriMo update!!! Today makes day four of the challenge but being that I'm writing the post first thing in the morning, I currently only have three days' worth of content under my belt. This almost wasn't the case as I was half tempted to take a break last night because I was feeling a bit burnt out.
