Welcome to day twelve of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where I feel like I am getting back in the groove when it comes to the physical act of posting daily… but I still feel the on the fly content that I’m coming up with can still seem forced when I’m not feeling all that inspired by the days topic… I’m fine with this though… since I’m not a huge fan of marketing… I figured this would be a good challenge to exercise my newly found non-screenwriting writer’s voice that I always mentioned that I was searching for in my past challenges…

Welcome to day eleven of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… today turned out to be a good one… now that the weekend is over… and all of the holiday/family stuff should be done for quite a while… granted… I kept to myself as much as I could throughout the season… since I started to isolate myself five years before Covid-19 due to health issues and social anxiety… the rest of my family doesn’t seem to mind the risk… traveling back and forth through hotspots casually… as if nothing were going on…

Welcome to day ten of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… I’m still within the 72-hour window of waiting to see whether or not my site’s analytics will be fixed… but… thanks to the Sanvello app that I now use as a mental health aid before making a post… I don’t feel the frustration will affect my work… but then again… I’m also in a holding pattern… and I am extremely patient when I know exactly how long I have to wait...

Welcome to day number seven of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I’ve started this project… time seems to be flying by now that I’m back to publicly working on something that I feel passionate about… granted I’ve still been working on behind the scene aspects of my passion project during my two-year sabbatical from writing… but when time flew then… it would just go unnoticed…

Welcome to day number six of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… I think I’m getting close to figuring out the analytics issues that are causing my traffic statistics to be so low… for the past month… I’ve been getting two different sets of statistic numbers depending on which analytics tool I use… I find it promising that the Google Analytics stats reflect the higher of the two… now that I’ve resolved my DNS and SSL Cert issues… now I just have to figure out what needs to be tweaked to get the Ezoic stats to match the higher visitor counts to reflect the traffic that I used to get before this issue came up…

Welcome to day number five of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where I seem to finally be settling into a routine… over the anxiety of getting everything just right for my return to blogging after taking two years off to tend to a few mental and physical health issues… on top of that… I’m also over the fact that my efforts to optimize this page… with the hopes of having this perfect for my return… but… me being me… I ended up messing everything up in the process… as usual…

Welcome to day number four of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… sorry I’ve yet to design a fancy header image and am still using placeholder images with a templated layout… I still have about 4k errors to fix… errors caused by me shortening most of my URLs in an effort to improve my SEO score… only I forgot to look into ALL of the steps to make sure I did it correctly… hence the low revenue you’ll see at the bottom of this page…

Three days into 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… and I’m really starting to see why I should do even an ounce of research before jumping into these long term challenges… I actually bought the book 365 Days Of Marketing to be a resolution for 365 Days Of Resolution…but hadn’t read a single page until three days ago… when I decided to return to the world of daily challenges!!!

Though I still feel a little rusty from taking two years off… yesterday showed me how important this blog is when it comes to my mental health… especially now that I’ve found the non-screenwriting writer’s voice that I’ve been hunting for since I bought The Wicker Breaker domain…

As I noted in the About 365 Days Of Marketing And Me page… I was supposed to start this project over two years ago… but had to take a break from blogging thanks to effect that burnout was having on both my body and my brains… I went six years posting daily without a legitimate break without earning a single dime for my efforts… all because I’m too much of an introvert with quirky plans to feel confident enough to promote my work as must-read material…

The Challenge…

I originally intended to start 365 Days Of Marketing And Me two years ago… before the blogging burnout forced me to take a break… I’d just come off Operation Achieve Anything where I worked through a self-help book called Achieve Anything In Just One Year… at that time… I was just going to work through the book’s lesson a day for a year format to see where it might take me… which I figured would be a bunch of playful complaining when I didn’t like an assignment… the same way I griped while working through the bumper sticker sounding self-help tasks that I didn’t agree with…
