It's a sleepy Sunday on a week where I officially earned my keep so I'm going to celebrate by taking the rest of the day off as soon as I wrap up the few things I have to do to get caught up on my self-imposed blogging obligations.

Wow, yesterday ended up being an extra productive out of the blue day. It started out just like every other day for the past couple weeks. I woke up nice and early, which is still a strange thing for me to grasp. I then finished all my blogging and walking obligations well before noon and sat down to start working on today's nonsense as I am still waiting to hear about a job offer that's supposed to be coming my way really soon.

It's sad, but I feel that the dreamer in me is dying. Well... I guess it's not the dreamer but whatever part of me that thinks that I can potentially turn any of my night time fantasies into any form of reality.

I really try to keep my political post to a minimum but right now I have something on my mind that I have to get out and since I know no one will read anything here, this is the perfect place for me to do my venting.

Sometimes the fictional writer in me fantasizes about a day in the distant future when we've really nailed down AI to where it become impossible to tell the difference between human and computer thinking. At some point in this process, it seems like a safe bet that not only would they develop a machine capable of thought but that they would work in a personality as well.

First off, I'd like to point out that when I am on here griping about writer's block or that I'm "just not feeling it," when it comes to writing, I'm usually specifically talking about this segment of my blog. Other than that, I'm happy with my SNL reviews and other ventures into writing. It's just that from time to time I can't figure out what I want this segment to be.

I just got back from a long walk with the dog and I'm pretty excited to have found a nature trail through the canyon that runs just a couple blocks behind my house. Of course, I always knew that the canyon was there, and my sister told me about the trail years ago, today was just the day that I build up the courage to check it out.

I'm beginning to find that not having a job at the moment is causing me to censor myself here in these Daily Breaker posts. I see this as another sad reminder of just how important money has become in this world and the fact that I have zero dollars, it feels like I have no say in the world around me.

Hm... Not sure what I want to say today. Part of me wants to talk about how gassy I've been this week, but there's not much to say other than I've been extremely gassy to the point where I had to go get some gas relief pills even though I can barely afford that type of luxury these days.

This week marks the time of year when I start to get bummed out because I can no longer wear hoodies without feeling like I am melting. For one, I just prefer the way that I look when wearing a hoodie with a pair of shorts but I also like that, unlike tee-shirts, I can wear a hoodie multiple days without having to wash it. That's an awesome feature when you only have a handful of outfits to choose from.

Well, yesterday was a mostly successful day. I managed to put in more work than I was planning into my Saturday Night Live reviews but still managed to wrap things up by late afternoon. I was excited because I finally got myself to a point where there was no back of the brain struggle as to whether or not I should be doing more which I thought would allow me to settle in for the night to watch a couple movies.

Well, yesterday was a half success!!! Though I managed to get a couple SNL reviews banked into my backlog, I failed to take a break from sitting at my computer in order to sit on the couch to waste a portion of the day away while watching a bunch of movies.

Alright, I'm torn as to what to do today. I'm currently one day ahead of my SNL reviews so I am doing good there. I know for sure that I want to at least watch and review one more episode to boost my safety net strength to cover two days if needed and this is where the confusion sets in.

Oh boy, season four of Saturday Night Live is a pretty rough season to get through. I wouldn't say that it's horrible but the show definitely feels like it's resting on its laurels follow three successful seasons. This seems pretty common, especially when it comes to comedy series filled with fresh-faced comedians who are finally feeling what it's like to get some positive attention.

It's a real good thing that I spent the last couple days getting ahead of my workload because tonight, I'm going to have to go ahead and use one of those backlog reviews without replacing it to make up for spending the day with the family.

Alright, I'm finally getting my safety net back into position!!! I keep getting myself to where I'm about a review and a half ahead of schedule. This allows me to casually keep up with my SNL challenge while also being able to go about the rest of my life.

I think I finally figured out what I am doing with this site. Up until last night, I always saw this as a motivational tool to keep me writing while I transitioned out of my dream of becoming a working screenwriter into a new dream of write for a whole new medium. I still see it as a tool to find my voice while sharing my work publicly in an attempt to also find an audience but I never really had an end game.

I was listening to a podcast about Marilyn Monroe while I was out walking the dog this morning and I was surprised to see just how much I related to her story. Though my road to the mental disorders that we share is a much different route, I see many similarities with her thought processes as gleaned from interviews and the people who knew her.

My stomach bug returned this morning but other than that things are looking up. The worst part about my stomach issue is that I feel a very gassy pain that I wish I could just release but don't want to gamble and lose because I am wearing my favorite underwear.
